A Painted Boy...

I don't usually paint little boys.
And I thought...I need to paint a little something for my Love Bug.
I didn't want him to look back and see all these painted pieces
with his sister in mind & not him.
I just can't help myself really....I like girlie, and pink, and sparkles, and cute hair, and empowering words & phrases (for woman), and butterflies, and big sweet eyes...see what I mean.
Total Girl
So I made a little boy, like the little girl I worked on the other day.

 He's a cutie...just like my sweet boy.
It was super fun to work on...so maybe there are some more boys
in the future. :)

*Also - Thank you so much for your sweet comments. My little blog has brought me tons of joy & lots of smiles. It means the world to me that you stop by, read, comment, and share your lives through your blogs with me.
Thank you!

**OK, and  seriously getting exciting for this & this

Hugs & Sparkles!

  2. Hello Jen! I was about to say that this is the first time I have seen you produce an artwork with a male subject. He is equally cute and full of life. I love the combinations of blue and green. I'm sure your son will love this representation of him :)

  6. dear Jen-your little boy is sooooo cute! I mean...super super cutie pie! I know what you mean though...I like really girlie stuff too:) But I think its' so important that you did this for your son...so that he can see himself reflected in his home like his sister is.
and your little girl is soooooo beeeeyooootiful!!! Oh! She's off to school next year...real scool= all grown up:( I really try to savor all these days (no matter how hectic) with Tara; I know they will be gone in the blink of an eye.
So sorry I have not replied to your e-mail. I will I promise. I have been so tired lately...its' crazy> I have lots of book recommendations though...its' great to meet a fellow bookwork. I hope you have a great weekend! xxx

  7. It's adorable! who said little boy art can't have glitter and other fun stuff. I think while they are at a young age they can enjoy whimsical art, but when they hit the teens, they may be a bit too 'cool' to appreciate it, lol! enjoy your sweet little boy, and make more art!
    xoxo
